What is it?

Bradley’s Country Store is focused on keeping things simple, easy and traditional. The rustic store is nearly unchanged since it was established in 1927.  The family-owned store’s devotion to keeping the store true to its roots helped land it on the National Register of Historic Places.

A Peek Inside

After passing a welcoming wooden porch, visitors are enveloped in a homey interior. The store is small and prides itself on not having the excessive frills of modern storefronts. Inside there are quality meats, jams, snacks and trinkets for sale. Newspaper clippings of the Bradley family and the store that have been published over the years line the walls.

Famous Food

Not only has the store become famous for its old-Florida charm, but Bradley’s is also known for its country-smoked sausage and milled grits. The sausage is made from the same recipe Grandma Mary Bradley passed down four generations ago, and the grits have been ground on-site since the 1920s.

Enjoy the Scenery

The store is a 12-mile trip from Tallahassee, down the beautiful canopy-covered Centerville Road. There is a beautiful outdoor picnic area that visitors can enjoy after getting their treats from the store.

Don’t forget the Smokehouse

At the back of the store, visitors can order ready-to-eat sausages, and can put in bulk orders at the smokehouse. Get to the store early to beat the lines and enjoy one of the Bradley’s daily lunch specials.
