What Is It?

The Showcase of Citrus is a family-owned business established in 1989 in Clermont, about 15 minutes from Orlando. The 2,500-acre estate features 50 types of citrus, with U-picks, farm animals eager to be fed, gem mining, and an old-time country store with locally made treats and crafts.

A Memorable Tour

A favorite way to see the property’s native woods, cattle pastures, groves and swamps is with an hour-long tour aboard a 16-foot-tall monster truck. Learn about the estate’s history and interesting Florida facts.

Treasures to Take Home

Citrus lovers can stroll through acres of ripe fruit ready for picking or buy pre-picked fruit at the country store. A sluice box at an on-site gem mine is filled with crystals and fossils for those interested in nonedible souvenirs.

What to Find

Showcase of Citrus is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. U-pick is seasonal, typically November through May. More people visit in winter, which has less rain. Although afternoon showers are common in summer, a later sunset allows for a 6 p.m. monster truck tour.
